One Riddle, One Answer

Hey students!  This week we are reading the fairy tale One Riddle, One Answer.  The afternoon class did a great job coming up with some riddles that they shared with the class.  My task for you...... Come up with a riddle and post it for us.  We will look at the riddles in class and try to guess the answers.  Have fun! :)

Which character do you like the best (Wilbur or Charlotte) and WHY?

Spring Break 2011

Hi students!  I hope that you are all having a wonderful Spring Break!  I know that I am! I have had a lot of much needed time to rest and relax!  (Now it's time to do housework...yuck!! haha).  I am excited to get back to school to do our final preparations for the TAKS tests that will be taken at the end of April.  We will be working hard each day to make sure that all students are ready to pass!  I know that you ALL can do it if you always do your best and give it your all.  After the TAKS we will have many fun activities in May, such as "Fun Day," Field Day, Pool Day, etc. We must get through the tests first and then we can have some fun!  So enjoy the rest of your break and I will see you bright and early Monday Morning :) 

Ramona and Her Father

Hi students!  This week we are reading Ramona and Her Father.  In this story Ramona's father loses his job and the family tries to think of solutions to this problem.  Ramona & Beezus thought of baby-sitting, opening a lemonade stand, or making perfume.   Mrs. Quimby got a full time job at a doctor's office.  Ramona also thought about staring in her own commercial to make money.  If you were going to try to make some extra money what would you do?
